Selected and showcased at Rizomes Music Festival June 2025 in Girona, Spain

 A large scale inflatable project inspired by the surreal landscape of the plantation that became the festival grounds and an ode to the colour yellow. It is a 9 meter wide dome where people can enter and hang out inside. The Sleeping Sun was built to celebrate the summer solstice and to create a glowing beacon for festival go-ers to hang out and spark new friendships between unlikely strangers. It is a multi-sensor installation to compliment to beautiful atmosphere of the forests of Girona.

A hybrid of human, swine and reptile,
Babygirl is an anamorphic sculpture birthed from
an exploration of cross breeding.

 
I found her as a rusty old doll in a corner of Mercat de Encants in Barcelona, Spain. Already having lived many lives in her skin, I took her home and gave her a new one. I modified her anatomy - a facial reconfiguration, lost some fingers in exchange for webs and morphed her human toes into dainty little hooves. She changed her hair from outdated cursed medieval locks to a 80s mullet shag, to compliment her body modifications. She has two mouths, one of her face and one on her belly. With her newly added gills, she can live both above land and in a swamp. Babygirl is sculpted with airdry clay and painted in thin layers with acrylic paint.

REFIND Glass Studio Singapore x Singapore Wildcat Action Group
Made for the SWAG “Hajat” Auction 2021


For this wearable glass art piece, I wanted to capture the discomfort that these endangered wild animals are put through on a daily basis through active poaching. In order for us to understand the struggle that the Malayan Tigers undergo, I thought it was best to create a provocative wearable art piece that could mimic the physical weight of a chain around one’s neck. With this tangible weight, it gives the user a moment to reflect on the objectification we place on these wild animals, viewing them as prizes instead of a part of nature we should leave undisturbed.
Despite the message behind this wearable piece, I wanted it to look elegant on the wearer or displayed as a hanging piece on the wall. The chain is made from borosilicate glass and is detachable to wear as a shorter necklace or doubled up to wear as a longer chain. There are a total of 129 links in this chain, measuring 2.5 metres long, made from a multitude of mixed colours that visually represent the Malayan Tiger and the landscape of South East Asian jungles.Photography by Haraldur Már Unnarsson

A hollow wax table designed for a series of Happenings - 4 interactive installations in the form of a ritual and dinner party combined.

 
This wax table was used as the main artefact for the event - first, as a “clock” for the ritual segment and second, as the dinner table for food to be served on after. It started with a bank of 30kg of estirinea wax that was melted down and casted into an organic wet clay mold to make each table shape. During the event, the wax table gets destroyed by the dinner guests and the broken pieces are collected, purified and reused into making the next wax table. It is a practice of life and death of a material and its continuous transformation from one state to another.

A low and sleek ottoman that mimics the shape of a Blue Lobster Tail - snug and tucked. This pouf is perfect for resting your tired feet or used as a low seat and adds a pop of colour and texture in any space. It is a shy creature but commands attention with its striking deep blue wool coat and the visual contrast the overlapping shells provide. Completely handmade, this ottoman is the culmination of a variety of disciplines from woodworking to fine upholstery to seamless stitching, pulled together with a stenciled canvas logo. The result is a functional soft sculpture that is playful yet serious with its morphological jagged finish.

		<description>Lantern series
Sometimes you have to find it, the hidden signs of love. Leaving a light on for those who have not yet come home. A simmering glow, an imperturbable composure, just here, waiting for you. 


A series of light fixtures produced from the playful experimentation of the luminosity of cow intestines. Cow intestines are most commonly used as sausage casing. For these lanterns, their elasticity lent itself to be stretched, stitched and dried over frames made from found metal and repurposed scrap. With minimal modifications to the inherent shapes of the collected metals, organic forms were created autonomously.The inspiration behind this series was to imitate the dim garden lighting from my home in the tropics - warm and consistent. A night light hidden amongst the leaves that illuminate and form a winding path back to the indoors. The intention is for these lanterns to emit a flickering incandescence in order to induce a meditative state within the viewers.
